The tenth anniversary of the Festivals Conference, an association that brings together more than 16 film festivals in Switzerland, is an opportunity to reaffirm the role(s) of film festivals: as creators of new audiences, as drivers of the local economy, as guarantors of the diversity of the Swiss and international film landscape, etc. After a first panel in January in Solothurn, dedicated to solidarity within the Swiss film culture, this is the second part of a series of discussions proposed by the Festivals Conference.
