Pirimze was an institution in Tbilisi, which was home to many tradesmen’s stores. You could have just about anything repaired there: clothes, watches, TVs, umbrellas, shoes, radios, etc. After the collapse of the USSR, the centre went bankrupt, marking the end of an era. An accurate and ironic observation of a changing society through the history of a unique and fascinating place.
