During three days in the idyllic Petit Sécheron farm, Visions du Réel invites teenagers to learn audiovisual production and create one or more films on a social issue of their choice. The films will be presented to their friends and families at the end of the week at a special screening at Visions du Réel Festival.
Supported and supervised by film professionals, the group will be able to explore various audiovisual creation techniques through workshops on filmmaking, sound art and stop-motion (a frame-by-frame animation technique). Artists and inspiring people will share their journeys and experiences, giving everyone the opportunity to develop new ideas and imagine the future from a different perspective. Studio visits will also enrich the experience, which will culminate in a special screening at the Visions du Réel Festival. The camp takes place during the day only; each participant returns home in the late afternoon.
This project is developed in partnership with la Mobilière as part of the « Atelier du Futur » initiative.
Practical information
- When : From Monday 5 to Wednesday 7 April 2027, from 9.00 am (departure from Nyon) to 6.00 pm (arrival in Nyon), and on Saturday 10 April in the afternoon and evening (exact timetable to be confirmed)
- Where : The workshops from 5 to 7 April will take place at the Petit Sécheron farm in Lully (Chem. du Sécheron 5, 1132 Lully). Transport will be provided every morning and evening between Nyon train station and the Petit Sécheron farm. Participants will not be staying overnight at the venue.
- Cost : Participation is completely free of charge (including transport, meals and drinks), thanks to la Mobilière‘s social commitment.
Participation conditions
- Age : 13 to 15 year old. Participants must have reached the age of 13 and must not be older than 15 during the camp.
- Language : French
- Resident : Resident of Switzerland
