The Bakhtiari tribe is the largest group Iranian migratory nomads who move en masse in Spring to a SummerCamp where there is water and plants for their livestock. This year, due to the pandemic, the government has closed down the roads that the Bakhtiari must travel to migrate to stop the spread of the Corona virus. The government announced that the migration will be delayed for two months. However, the nomads and their animals are stuck in their WinterCamp which is getting warmer by the day, and they cannot stay under these conditions any longer. This film documents the struggles of a people who must face the dangers of the Covid-19 virus, as well as the wrath of mother nature and her raging rivers, steep mountain paths and ice and snow in order to keep their livestock and their families alive. They must flee these now dry plains with no plants or drinking water and head to the springs and luscious flora of their SummerCamp.
