Imagine Me Like a Country of Love

Thana Faroq returns to Yemen, which she left in 2015, to reconstruct the visual memory altered by the loss of family archives. Her film, through a powerful audiovisual collage of photographs, animations, fictional stagings and images of Sanaa, measures the gap between the country a person takes with them into exile and what it has become.
