For the Centre Pompidou’s “Où en-êtes vous?” (Where do you stand?) collection, Reichardt films artists Jessica Jackson Hutchins and Alexander Demetriou, sharing a studio in Long Beach where they sculpt clay. In preparation for her feature film Showing Up, she records their movements, their ways of observing, attempting to capture the relationship between them and their work.
