Tales of Rabassada

Andrei squats in the ruins of the former Barcelona casino on La Rabassada. Having become the unlikely keeper of a building that condensed the Catalan bourgeoisie’s dreams at the start of the 20th century, the Russian traveller guides us, in front of Ferrán Romeu’s camera, through an exploration of this place buried under vegetation, a symbol of the irresistible passage of time and the ephemeral nature of all glory.
