Rosita has been working in the interior design industry since she was 14. Her fascination with objects and colors led her to collect unique and unconventional materials, including caps from chemotherapy medicine vials.
For ten years, Anna worked as a nurse in the oncology department of the hospital in Biella (Italy), which was founded from the ground up by Mario, the department's head physician.
Anna was the first to introduce Rosita to a few of these chemotherapy vial caps, and Mario played a key role in promoting Rosita's project across Italy. Soon, caps began arriving from oncology departments in hospitals all over the country, revealing how many people and families could emotionally connect with her work.
For Rosita, transforming these caps into artworks has been a way of telling both an individual and a collective story.
