In a collective movement, activist brigades are organizing against invasive plants to restore the biodiversity of Galician landscapes. They obtain supplies from a Swiss metallurgical factory that produces files, precision tools used to sharpen their chainsaws. Through these two territories, a personal and migratory narrative emerges.
Maria Consuelo remembers the gestures she used to make as a factory worker on the assembly line, while Susana maintains around twenty slot machines in Galicia to make a living. Her weekly route takes her from one town to another to collect the accumulated money. During these long car journeys, she tells us the story of her village, Lentille: the abandonment of rural areas, the 2004 fire, and the network of volunteers mobilizing to clear the acacias.
