A Truth but Which

A Truth but Which is a work of autofiction/ autotheory.Paraphrasing Roland Barthes, the first person narrator opens by stating to be, herself, a product of imagination, a fiction. Then asks: Why do I feel so drawn to the fragmentary form? The essayistic reflections that follow are at first based on a personal archive. Going through collected notes, quotes and images of the last six years, the narrator questions and reflects upon the form of the fragment, the practice of collage and her own interest in these formats. At some point the temporality shifts: the essayistic reflections become a practice, a video diary.
