The City of Immortals (or The Zone)

A city out of time. What remains are forgotten objects, animals and some men and women, mostly devoted to rebuilding what seems to have been devastated by an uncertain phenomenon. Someone discovers it, explores it, and is terrified. To describe it, he uses Jorge Luis Borges’ words -borrowed phrases from his short story “The Immortal.” Narrated by Michel Noher and shot in Brooklyn, NYC, this experimental short film invites us to plunge into the unknown dimensions of the absolutely familiar. Produced prior to the 2020 Pandemic, it looks like a premonition of it!
