Initiated by Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), this exciting pitching competition aims at promoting creative documentary filmmaking in French-speaking Switzerland, where eight new documentaries in early development are presented.
Taking place during the VdR–Industry days in Nyon, Switzerland, the RTS pitching, initiated by Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), promotes innovative documentary filmmaking in French-speaking Switzerland. This unique forum showcases eight new documentary projects in early development, offering participants a chance to present their ideas to industry professionals. The best feature film project is awarded CHF 10,000 in development funds, supporting the creation of projects with strong creative vision. This competition fosters a collaborative environment to advance original Swiss documentary projects aimed at reaching a wide audience.
Access: Please note that only people with Industry accreditation and Networking accreditation can access this event. As capacity is very limited, we strongly recommend arriving early to secure a seat. Priority will be given to invited guests.

- Each project by a Swiss filmmaker or a filmmaker based in Switzerland must be submitted by a production company headquartered in French-speaking Switzerland, which has produced more than 2 different works in the last 3 years.
- Producers may submit one or more projects. If they submit multiple projects, each project must come from a different author.
- The submitted project must require a particularly significant development phase for the documentary’s completion.
