VdR–Rough Cut Lab

In 2017 she created WALDEN, a space for documentary creation. She has been a member of the World Cinema Fund (Berlinale) since 2011, and works as a tutor for Eurodoc, Torino Film Lab, Visions du Réel, DocMontevideo and DocSP.

Okta Film, an Italian film production company founded by Paolo Benzi, sets out to be a revealer of visibility, a “mariner’s warning” of our restless, fast-changing times. Firmly biased towards the kind of filmmaking that is in love with reality, Okta Film proposes auteur-driven films in which the activities of looking and listening intersect with the search for narrative forms that are new, skilful, experimental and enjoyable. With a strongly international political outlook and intellectual perspective, Okta Film believes in filmmaking which creates connections and reverberations, which works on analogies and on memory, and which stimulates the imagination. With this in mind, Okta Film chooses creative indiscipline, blends of genres, friction and the conflict of languages.

I am partaking in VdR for the rough cut lab the third year in a row now, as an editor, and I have two films in competition this year, one as editor in the National section, HIJOS DEL VIENTO, and one as editing supervisor and mentor in the international section, 5 DREAMERS AND A HORSE

Sarajevo Film Festival started during the war and siege of Sarajevo. Today, 27 years later, it is the leading film festival in the region, recognized by both film professionals and the wider audience. It is an international event with a special focus on the region of South-East Europe. High-quality programming, a strong industry segment, an educational and networking platform for young filmmakers, generated the presence of the international film industry, film authors, and media representatives alongside a paying audience of over 100,000.
