The Everest Base Camp (alt. 5300 m) is gradually built, becoming a real town, revealing all its organised life to us, temporarily emerging from the white of the eternal snow, suspended within the vastness of the Himalayas. And so the question of the overpopulation of this wild place and the paradox these forms of extreme tourism bring with them is posed.
