After Je vous écris du Havre (VdR 2011), Françoise Poulain-Jacob focuses on the colonial ex-garden developed in the Bois de Vincennes at the end of the 19th century. Carried by the voice of Dominique Reymond, this final guided tour of the traps of the imagination, but above all of colonial décor, is a museum-like gesture of sad lyricism, as well an archaeology of the perspective on the Other and on ourselves.
