While the search for funding paradoxically requires writing the film one has in mind (location scouting, casting, dramaturgy, etc.), the shooting of a documentary involves unexpected situations, an element of unpredictability that can take filming in a different direction, or even radically alter the initial project. Under what conditions can the reality we are trying to record sometimes "dictate" its own law, and overturn the point of view of the filmmaker approaching it?

Participating filmmakers: Hyun kyung Kim - Defectors (International Feature Film Competition); Pedro Speroni - The Bilbaos (International Feature Film Competition); Komtouch Napattaloong - Hours of Ours (International Feature Film Competition): Nicolas Humbert - Floating Islands (National Competition); Vinicius Girnys - Samuel and the Light (International Medium Length & Short Film Competition).
