A look into Mexico’s national sport through the intertwined stories of those who stand at its margins. Charrería, a rodeo like sport born from rural ranch life, blends mastery of horsemanship, brutality and ritual. Once a symbol of masculine pride and national identity, the sport now faces change.
Amid the spectacle of one of the most important tournaments, an aging champion confronts the limits of his body and legacy, while a woman challenges the barriers of a world built for men.
