House on its Head

For many years, Wojciech Zamecznik (1923–1967) documented the life of his family, the curves of his wife and the laughter of his children. Though the man may not have been a filmmaker, his visual intuitions were those of a true artist. Adam Palenta pays him a sublime homage with this patchwork film that combines Zamecznik’s different archives. A personal account and a poignant story.
