A steel city that is causing a stir in the neighbourhood. Japanese-style houses designed by their future buyers. A construction site in pieces, entrusted to students. In Charleroi, Liège and Brussels, three architects and a handful of utopian residents are going to put their housing ideals into practice. Just out of May 68, they want a more human architecture, and are trying to demonstrate the revolutionary and participative potential of kit housing. An architectural adventure that has animated them for more than forty years… A joyful exploration then begins, which leads the director, herself a young architect, to question her profession and the future of our housing. What remains today of the houses of tomorrow?
