A documentary filmmaker met a fossil hunter Jed, who was trying to find dinosaur bones and Leon decided to follow him night and day to capture the big discovery moment on the camera. However, on their adventure, Jed did many things that have nothing to do with looking for dinosaur bones, like watching shooting stars, rescuing voles, visiting museums and meeting paleontologists and palaeontology students. At the same time, Jed always wanted Leon to put the camera down and relax, and he constantly questioned the role of the camera in this journey and in Leon’s life. In the end, when Jed finally found a vertebral under the sunset, Leon asked him to recreate the discovery moment and pose for the camera...
