(Please note short films, series and interactive projects are not eligible.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Projects from all over the world can apply.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Projects must be in<\/span><b> the finishing stages <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of production with ten minutes of strong edited material ready to show by Visions du R\u00e9el in April 2027. An entry fee will be charged to cover the administrative costs of the submission.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fee waivers are available for productions coming from countries on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visionsdureel.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/VdR27_Eligible_countries.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this list<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. To request a waiver, you may email <a href=\"mailto:industry@visionsdureel.ch\">industry@visionsdureel.ch<\/a> with the subject line: Fee Waiver Request &#8211; (Project Title) and indicate the production location.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All submission forms must be filled out in English including additional written materials. Audiovisual materials should include English subtitles if in another language.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Incomplete submissions or submissions entered after the deadline may not be accepted. Projects for the VdR\u2013Industry activities are selected by the Artistic Director and Head of Industry, together with an international selection committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Selection Committee reserves the right to choose the activity in which the project will be presented, according to the project timeline and in discussion with the submitter.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In order to avoid any conflict of interest in the project selection process, members of the selection committee who are decision-makers in the development of a project may not take part in discussions concerning it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The main criteria for selection include:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the artistic quality of the project;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">its international potential;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">financial feasibility;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the track record of the directors and\/or producers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A rough cut or fine cut plays a key role in the assessment process, as do the director\u2019s and producer\u2019s note, budget summary and financing plan. <\/span><\/p>\n      \t\t\t<\/div>\n    \t\t<\/div>\n  \t\t<\/div>\n  \t\t  \t\t<div class=\"card\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"card-header\" id=\"heading-tabs-block_9401cd0906fc6f4629afb2d6a68dc659\">\n\t\t\t\t<button \n\t\t\t\t\t\tclass=\"btn link-reverse btn-block text-left\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\ttype=\"button\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\tdata-toggle=\"collapse\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\tdata-target=\"#collapse-tabs-block_9401cd0906fc6f4629afb2d6a68dc659-6\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\taria-expanded=\"false\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\taria-controls=\"collapse-tabs-block_9401cd0906fc6f4629afb2d6a68dc659-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\tParticipation Process\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n    \t\t<div id=\"collapse-tabs-block_9401cd0906fc6f4629afb2d6a68dc659-6\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"heading-tabs-block_9401cd0906fc6f4629afb2d6a68dc659\" data-parent=\"#tabs-block_9401cd0906fc6f4629afb2d6a68dc659\">\n      \t\t\t<div class=\"card-body px-3\">\n        \t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selected projects will be asked to confirm their participation via email acceptance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If selected, submitters will be asked to pay a one-off fee of<\/span><b> CHF 260 (VAT included)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to secure their participation. This fee will cover:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Online pitch training and feedback ahead of the public presentation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Onsite pitch orientation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two Industry accreditations for the director and producer (giving access to all film screenings, talks, masterclasses, pitches and ancillary activities during the Festival).
