An entry fee will be charged to cover the administrative costs of the submission. Projects for the VdR\u2013Industry activities are selected by the Artistic Director and Head of Industry, together with an international selection committee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The main criteria for selection include:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the artistic quality of the project;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">its international potential;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">financial feasibility;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the track record of the directors and\/or producers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A rough cut plays a key role in the assessment process for the VdR\u2013Work In Progress showcase, as do the director\u2019s and producer\u2019s note, budget summary and financing plan. <\/span>For the detailed list of all required elements for the submission, click <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.visionsdureel.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/VdR\u2013Work-in-Progress-Submission-Checklist-2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Selection Committee reserves the right to choose the activity in which the project will be presented, according to the project timeline and in discussion with the submitter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In order to avoid any conflict of interest in the project selection process, members of the selection committee who are decision-makers in the development of a project may not take part in discussions concerning it.<\/span><\/p>\n      \t\t\t<\/div>\n    \t\t<\/div>\n  \t\t<\/div>\n  \t\t  \t\t<div class=\"card\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"card-header\" id=\"heading-tabs-block_b82843a886b198d886052cf67989f889\">\n\t\t\t\t<button \n\t\t\t\t\t\tclass=\"btn link-reverse btn-block text-left\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\ttype=\"button\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\tdata-toggle=\"collapse\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\tdata-target=\"#collapse-tabs-block_b82843a886b198d886052cf67989f889-6\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\taria-expanded=\"false\" \n\t\t\t\t\t\taria-controls=\"collapse-tabs-block_b82843a886b198d886052cf67989f889-6\">\n\t\t\t\t\tParticipation process\t\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n    \t\t<div id=\"collapse-tabs-block_b82843a886b198d886052cf67989f889-6\" class=\"collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"heading-tabs-block_b82843a886b198d886052cf67989f889\" data-parent=\"#tabs-block_b82843a886b198d886052cf67989f889\">\n      \t\t\t<div class=\"card-body px-3\">\n        \t\t\t<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Participation Fee<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If selected, submitters will be asked to pay a one-off fee of<\/span><b> CHF 260 (VAT included)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to secure their participation. This fee will cover:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Two INDUSTRY accreditations for the director and producer giving full access to the VdR\u2013Industry programme as well as film screenings at the Festival.
