Casanova Gene, Luise Donschen – International premiere
A film about the mysteries and the politics of seduction. What is the chemistry at work inside our eyes, minds, desire(s) and ultimately our image(s) of the other that constantly pushes human beings to explore new boundaries of sexual freedom? Shot over five years, a funny and ironic essay about the laws of attraction; successive slides of pleasure, indeed.

Tungrus, Rishi Chandna – World premiere
In a Mumbai apartment, a family sees its existence turned upside down by an impetuous and unusual pet, a young cock, formerly a miraculously surviving chick, which is now turning their life into hell and threatening the household balance. Between an urban fable and a family therapy borrowing from the absurd, a hilarious study of human and animal mores.
Snowbirds, Mika Goodfriend – World premiere
Each winter, a group of pensioners from Quebec set up their caravans in Florida, their particular version of paradise. In Pompano Beach, far from the harsh Canadian winters, day-to-day life follows a rhythm of swimming, country dancing and games of bowls – a sort of programmed trance in slow motion, for those who have dreamed of growing old in the shade of the palm trees.
