Where are you, João Gilberto?, Georges Gachot – World premiere
30 years ago, João Gilberto, the father of bossa nova, disappeared. Georges Gachot, having decided to make a film about him, heads to Rio de Janeiro to follow the traces of his invisible idol. Between hotel rooms, false leads and missed meetings, the filmmaker constructs a possible fiction on the figure of Gilberto, closer to a personal detective film than a biopic.
