A beautiful start | Encordés

What a success for the Festival's Avant-Première Thursday 20 April, with two sold out screenings! Do not miss the third and fourth screenings of the film Encordés by Frédéric Favre this Saturday. Follow the intense training process of three teams of the Patrouille des Glaciers, a military ski mountaineering race open to civilians and one of the most extreme mountain events of today.

La Lanterne Magique | Cinema for little ones!

Little ones and grown-ups alike are invited to the screening of C'est ma chambre, made during an intergenerational workshop bringing together children and adults. This premiere will be followed by Ani doc doc, a programme of short films that shows how animated films can constitute an impressive means of awareness. A collaboration between La Lanterne Magique, Pro Senectute Vaud and Visions du Réel, with the support of the Fondation Leenaards.

Official Opening in Gland | Unerhört Jenisch

Ville de Gland and Visions du Réel have the pleasure to announce the official Opening of Visions du Réel in Gland, with the screening of Unerhört Jenisch by Karoline Arn and Martina Rieder. Stephan Eicher and his brother take us deep into the Grison Alps, where Swiss folk music finds its Yenish roots. An initiatory sound and visual experience.
Screening followed by an aperitif offered by Ville de Gland and a Gypsy jazz concert by the group Gadjo.

Soirée RTS | Les grandes traversées

Come to the Prix RTS: Perspectives d'un Doc followed by Les grandes traversées by David Maye, screened as a world premiere. In a house in Valais, surrounded by mountains, three major events occur at the same time. These will change everything in their lives and take shape before our eyes with great modesty and an extraordinary detail for the feelings of the protagonists.
The Saturday screening is followed by an aperitif offered by RTS (Swiss TV).
