A family Quartet dives deep into the impact of both loving and suffocating family relationships, and unravels how a 13 year old child prodigy, a violin player, puts the relationships in a perfectionistic and ambitious family under pressure.  


Buddha in Africa

The intimate story of a boy growing up in a Chinese Buddhist orphanage in Malawi and the cultural challenges he faces between his African roots and Chinese upbringing. Against the backdrop of China’s expanding influence on the continent, the film evokes some of the tensions surrounding the growing relationship between China and Africa.

Piripkura

Two nomadic indians, the last two of the three suvivors of the Piripkura people, live in a protected area in the middle of the Amazon forest, surrounded by farms, with a small blind ax and a torch lit for the last time in 1998. To maintain the area protected, every two years state officials carry out expeditions to prove that they are still alive.

The Amateur Soccer Referee Federation has a new board of directors, who face the challenge of renewing their image after a 90-year history. But these leaders receive a broke organization and headquarters that are in precarious conditions. They have also aged, but have nothing to lose and will work together to reinvent themselves.


White Cube

Carrara is an Italian town famous for white marble extraction. It has always been a Mekka of sculptors. Contemporary engineering has shaken foundations of that world by developing a robot, which can produce virtually any 3D marble form from a computer file. Gradually, human touch is being lost. White Cube is about a race between man and machine, a two sided struggle in quest for perfection.
