The educational platform DAAcademy.org is launching six new films and lesson plans, created in partnership with seven documentary film festivals, members of Doc Alliance. The new additions to the catalogue include amongst others:
- The German film Louisa, that provides a new perspective on people suffering from hearing loss.
- At Home in the World about refugee children attending a Red Cross school in Denmark while their families are waiting for a residence permit.
- The short film Quantum, an experimental film that explores various elements of film language and how they are applied in documentary film making.
The DAAcademy is now offering a total of 16 film lessons suitable for students as of the age of 12. It presents European documentary films that offer a wide variety of creative approaches and topics.
