Inland (Algeria, France)

  • Tariq Teguia

Malek, a topographer, lives in isolation from the world. Sent on a mission to north-west Algeria, he meets a young emigrant whom he escorts to the Malian border. Inland is a voyage into the depths of oneself, the depths of the land, to the gates of the desert. It is also the story of a death and a rebirth through others. Here, the drama is optical, and as psychological as it is political.
