A sensitive poetic short film in which an almost dying craftsmanship, literature and life meet each other in an unexpected way.
On a snow white Saturday, set in a beautiful empty Amsterdam lawyer’s office , a 78 year old Dutch letter painter paints quotes of the writers/lawyers Franz Kafka, John Grisham and Frans Bordewijk on the walls. During the paint process the dramatic youth of the painter every time seem to match the quotes he paints.
Franz Kafka: “ But I’am not guilty, said K, there’s been a mistake”.
John Grisham: “Don’t compromise yourself. You’re all you have”.
Frans Bordewijk: “Not the legal proceedings, but man is interesting”.
