Young Californian skate-boarders live a life of instant excitement, spiced up with alcohol and drugs. Like a tribe, they wander from place to place with just one purpose: to defy the law of gravity by keeping their balance on a skateboard however rough the surface. The filmmaker has recorded this milieu in absolute freedom, following the existential “career” of a living legend of the sport.
