- 25.05.2010 Discovered at Visions du Réel in 2000, Apichatpong Weerasethakul is the winner of the Palme d’or at Cannes for his film "Lung Boonmee Raluek Chat". The filmmaker will be participating in a an exclusive Workshop at the Cinéma Bio of Carouge on Monday 31 May 2010, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

- 18.04.10 Following the nomination of Jean Perret for the new post at the Haute Ecole d’art et de design in Geneva, the Association Visions du Réel has recruited a new director. On Saturday 17 April, the Committee unanimously named Mr. Luciano Barisone, present director of the Festival of Popoli in Florence, as the new director of Visions du Réel.
